For their third LP, Denver's own Moon Pussy bring both a more expansive sound and a refined restraint to the table of your eardrums. "At the Pace of Outrage" allows guitarist Ethan Hahn to fold in more unique noise and home made effects to the palette of Noise punk wierdness the trio has refined over their 6 plus years as a band. Vocalist and bassist Crissy Cueller grows her voice on new songs such as "Birthday party" and "Trinkets" commanding the topics of the lyrics. Drummer Cory Hager has a way of keeping the life and forward dynamics of the song as you fall into Ethan and Crissys trance of dissonance and clangy rhythms, moving and plodding the energy.
